Community organizers spend time, money, and energy to demand change. Some have sacrificed their health, jobs, and even their lives. Thus, NourishNYC remains committed to supporting vulnerable protestors. Within our first two days of operation, we distributed over $5,000 dollars in direct cash assistance to New York City protestors. As such, communities now rely on us subsidize necessities such as emergency medical care, bail, safe transportation, and food.
